Pasta or Eggs?
Let me just start by telling you a small story about something that happened today. Since we are on vacation, our days look pretty much the same; we take breakfast, go to the swimming pool, then have lunch, take a nap and then wait for our daddy to come home, so that we can spend time with him. Although our days seem boring and routine, I assure you that they are never ever the same! Some say that staying home is boring, and I can’t totally negate that. However, there are always things that take you out of the routine. Today, that “thing” was a discussion about pasta. After 10:30 am, my kids started talking about lunch and asked me if they could eat pasta. I agreed, since we always have a pasta day during the week. The problem was that my youngest daughter suddenly wanted eggs for lunch and no more pasta. So, during half an hour, her older siblings tried to convince her that pasta was way better than eggs: “If mummy makes pasta, she can put olives in it, and cheese, and red sauce”,...
